She explains in the beginning, what we will do and tells us to listen to our bodies.  At the end of class , not only do I feel like I’ve put my body through a great relaxing and muscle improvement phase, but, I feel like I’ve been dancing and I love to dance.  Her routines are as much fun as her personality.  She’s a keeper.

It’s unbelievable how Michele’s Sitercise class can be such a strenuous workout. I think every muscle we own is exercised, but everyone is urged to put as much or as little effort into it as their bodies feel is right.  She has a nice varied selection of music.  Newcomers can fairly easily follow along as she keeps giving verbal instructions.

I always look forward to the class. Her demonstrations are easy to follow, especially she moves around the room while leading the class, so her movements can be seen and followed by each participant.   The music selections are appealing and very fitting to the dances to be performed.  I have problem with memory, but she is always so ready to review and repeat the steps which bring  you back proper participation and continued enthusiasm.

The Sitercize Class is my favorite exercise class.  Wouldn’t mind doing it every day it possible.  Michele covers all the bases.  It’s an inclusive body workout…full hour…no breaks!   She uses music that Is appropriate and the kind that keeps you happily moving.  You feel that your time is well spent.  Michele is a very good instructor and always sensitive to members needs and accommodates as necessary.  She also tries to vary the routines, keeping ones we know and adding some new ones.  It’s never boring!

Sitercize is an fitness program designed to be a complete work out from ‘Head to Toe” while sitting in a chair.  This has proven to be very beneficial….the best class I have ever been in by far!   Exercising to music well chosen is an added plus!    I look forward to this class with great anticipation knowing I will be doing something good for my well-being.  Michele is a great instructor and fun to be with.

I have been attending Michele Schartel’s   Sitercize class for 1 ½ years.  We do sit down exercise set to music that we love.  It is a vigorous exercise class, but she is careful to caution us not to injure ourselves.  She encourages us to do the best we can to get the most benefit from our exercise class and she makes exercise fun!  She is very dependable and we have class even when the weather is not good outside.    I also attend line dance class taught by Michele, it is the activity I look forward to all week.  She is patient in teaching and finds music that fits “our pace”.
